An old favourite from the archive... 1972.

The XS-650 - Yamaha's attempt to produce a basic British design.
This version was not overly successful but later it improved after Percy Tait applied modifications. The image is a favourite of mine and was produced by my wife's
Voigtlander Vito IIa - which we still have.

The Minolta 110 Zoom SLR.

The images are a little 'soft' and have the look of watercolours
but considering the negative size I am happy with the result.

Ensign Ful-Vue.

Because I was desperate for a camera of my own, Xmas 1947 saw me become the
owner of the above 120 roll film Ensign Ful-Vue - so-called because the advantage it had over the ubiquitous Kodak Box Brownie was a viewfinder of much larger dimensions.
Unhappily, I found the camera a great disappointment and went back to the family Brownie.
The above picture is the only print I still have taken by the Ensign. Oddly it depicts the present I turned down for the camera but I received it for Xmas 1948. The last time I rode it was in
1964.

Obsolete Film...

Myself upon the outer head of Worm's Head, Rhosili, Gower, Wales.

On the left a view of Mumbles from Clyne Common, Swansea and above a school friend before we set out to cross to the tip of the Worm.

The arrow indicates the house where I was born, Rhianfa Hospital, Swansea,
taken from my back bedroom window at 6 Rosehill Terrace.
These shots were taken on a Coronet camera using 828 roll film which was
an unperforated 35mm film spooled with a paper back.
1953.
